Graduation Speech 1997
Dear parents, Teachers, and Students, It is an honour for me to speak on behalf of all my classmates on this occasion that is very special for all of us. It is special for our school, which played a major role in making it possible. It is special for our teachers who have been as devoted and faithful as anyone can be. It is unforgettable for our parents who have pushed us forward when we felt we no longer can go on. Finally, it is precious to us because it shows our efforts were not fruitless. However, it is painful since it means leaving the institution we have spent our best years in its classrooms, halls, playgrounds and more importantly with its people. We are all filled with dreams that our school helped to grow with ambition, it never put boundaries to, and with confidence it made sure we never lose. For shaping our personalities, for arming us with values, attitudes and knowledge, and for everything else it did for us, we thank our school with its wise administration and caring teachers for tolerating with us no matter how hard we were to deal with this year, and for always being there for us. We thank our parents for every success we made, and every step we took forward. We will always remember the Arab Model Schools which will mark, with excellence, our future achievements. Thank you all very much for sharing this wonderful evening with us.
